One thing on this page is still unfinished
- The limitation of liability, and whether GDPR or CCPA apply, need a lawyer. Those turn on where customers actually are, and boilerplate that does not hold up is worse than a narrower clause that does.
Everything else describes what the software genuinely does, including where your data goes.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026. PromptLens is operated by Billions Fine Art Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. This page describes what the software actually stores and where it goes. It is published in English only; where a translation exists, the English version governs.
What we store
- Account: your email address, your name if you gave one, and an identifier from Clerk. Clerk holds the credentials themselves; we never see a password.
- What you typed: the task description you entered, and the settings you chose with it.
- What was generated: the prompt and its accompanying fields, so your library works.
- Usage: a timestamp, the target model, the domain, and token counts, used to enforce plan quota and to see what things cost.
- Billing: Stripe customer, subscription and price identifiers, plus the status and period of your subscription. Card details never reach our servers.
Where it goes
- The AI provider configured for this deployment receives the text you enter, in order to generate the prompt. It does not receive your name, email, or any identifier we hold.
- Clerk handles authentication.
- Stripe handles payments.
- Neon hosts the database.
- Cloudflare serves the application.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and there is no third-party analytics or tracking script on this site.
Training
We do not use what you write, or what was generated from it, to train any model — ours or anyone else’s.
Retention
Prompts stay in your library until you delete them. Deleting one removes it from your library immediately; the row is retained in a soft-deleted state, because plan quota is counted from it and a hard delete would let a used allowance be reset by clearing history. Closing your account removes the account record and everything attached to it.
Your rights
[[ To be settled with a lawyer: whether GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA apply, and the response deadlines each imposes, depend on where customers actually are. ]]
Regardless of which regime applies: write to s@bfa.art and we will send you a copy of everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
Cookies
Two kinds, both necessary. Clerk sets a session cookie so you stay signed in. We set pl_locale to remember which language you chose. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why there is no consent banner.
