Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 August 2026. PromptLens is a trading brand of Billions Fine Art Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“we”, “us”), which also trades as BFA. These terms are between you and that company — BFA and PromptLens are names it operates under, not separate legal entities. By creating an account you agree to them.
These terms are published in English only. Where a translation of any part of this site exists, the English version governs.
1. What the Service does
PromptLens takes a description of a task you supply and returns a prompt written for a specific third-party AI model. The output is text. We do not send it to that model, we have no relationship with the vendors named in the interface, and we do not control what any of them does with a prompt you paste into it.
The output can be wrong. A generated prompt may misstate a convention, recommend a setting that no longer exists, or make an assumption that does not fit your situation. Read what it produced — particularly the assumptions it lists — before relying on it for anything that matters.
2. Accounts
You need an account to generate. Authentication is handled by Clerk. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
3. Plans and billing
- Free: 10 generations per calendar month, no card required.
- Pro: $9 per month, up to 500 generations per billing period.
- Studio: $29 per month, up to 3,000 generations per billing period.
- Credit packs: a one-off purchase of 50 or 200 generations. They do not expire, and are spent only after the plan allowance for the period is used up.
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel or change plan at any time from the billing portal, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
We do not refund unused generations, and a subscription cancelled mid-period is not pro-rated. If something went wrong on our side — a failed generation that still consumed quota, a duplicate charge — write to s@bfa.art and we will put it right.
4. Your content
The task descriptions you write, and the prompts generated from them, are yours. We claim no ownership of either and we do not use them to train any model. We store them so that your library works, and to count usage against your plan.
To produce a prompt, the text you enter is sent to the AI provider this deployment is configured to use. That provider processes it under its own terms. Do not enter anything you are not permitted to disclose to a third party.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- produce prompts intended to generate material that is unlawful where you are, including content that sexualises minors;
- impersonate a real person, or generate material designed to deceive people about who is speaking;
- build or operate systems for spam, harassment, or large-scale disinformation;
- resell, redistribute or repackage the Service’s output as a competing prompt-generation product;
- circumvent quota, rate limits, or authentication, or access another user’s data.
We may suspend an account that does any of these, and will say why when we do.
6. Availability
The Service is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be available at any particular time, and we depend on third parties — Clerk, Stripe, Neon, Cloudflare and the AI provider — whose outages become ours. We will not deliberately withdraw a feature you are paying for without notice.
7. Liability

Whatever the final wording, we will not be liable for the output of a third-party model you paste a prompt into, or for decisions you make on the basis of generated text.
8. Changes
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects what you are paying for, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that is acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
